Payment Policy

This Payment Policy explains the payment methods accepted on the Chèr Cosmetics website, applicable charges, and how we handle payment-related issues. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
1. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods at checkout:
- Credit & Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, and other major networks)
- UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, and other UPI apps)
- Net Banking (all major Indian banks)
- Wallets (as supported by our payment gateway)
- Cash on Delivery (COD)
All online (prepaid) payments are processed securely through our payment gateway partner, Razorpay. Chèr Cosmetics does not store your card, UPI, or net banking credentials at any point — these are handled directly by Razorpay's secure, PCI-DSS compliant systems.
2. Cash on Delivery (COD)
COD is available Pan-India on all serviceable pin codes, with no maximum order value limit.
A COD handling charge of ₹100 applies to all orders where Cash on Delivery is selected as the payment method. This charge will be clearly shown at checkout before you confirm your order. Prepaid orders (Cards, UPI, Net Banking, Wallets) have no additional charges.
Please keep the exact amount ready at the time of delivery wherever possible, to help our delivery partner serve you faster.
Repeated refusal or failed delivery attempts on COD orders may result in COD being disabled for your future orders, as outlined in our Shipping Policy and Return Policy.
3. Payment Security
All prepaid transactions are processed via Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway, using industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) to protect your payment information.
Chèr Cosmetics does not have access to, and does not store, your complete card details, CVV, UPI PIN, or net banking credentials — these are handled entirely by Razorpay's secure infrastructure.

4. Failed or Pending Payments
If a payment fails but the amount is debited from your account, it is auto-refunded by your bank to your original payment method, typically within 7 business days (T+7), as per Razorpay's standard processing timelines.
If your refund for a failed transaction is not credited within this window, please contact us at support@cher.co.in with your order number and transaction reference, and we will help you follow up with Razorpay or your bank.
If the amount has been deducted from your account but you have not received an order confirmation email from Chèr within 2 hours, please email us at support@cher.co.in with your Order ID or Transaction Number, and we will look into it and get back to you.
Orders with payment shown as "pending" or "failed" will not be processed or dispatched until payment is successfully confirmed.
5. Order Confirmation
An order is considered confirmed only after successful payment (for prepaid orders) or successful order placement (for COD orders). You will receive an order confirmation via email and/or SMS once this is verified.
6. Currency
All prices on the Website are listed and charged in Indian Rupees (INR), inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
7. Invoicing
A GST-compliant invoice will be shared with you via email and/or included with your shipment for every order, in line with our GSTIN: 24BGKPJ8485R1ZD.
8. Refunds for Returns
Refunds arising from approved returns are processed as per our Return Policy, typically within 5–10 business days (as per Razorpay's standard refund processing timelines) to the original payment method, or via bank transfer/UPI for COD orders.
